Seriograph icon crafted in canvas with colored background on aged natural wood. Icon comes with a free stand. It is one of the most important and oldest relics of Christendom. Painted in Constantinople in the twelfth century (1131), it was sent as a gift to the Duke of Kiev. In 1395, during the invasion of Tamerlane, it was transferred to Moscow where it is currently kept at the Tretjakov Gallery. It is considered the patroness of Russia.
