The Virgin Kecharitomeni with little Jesus on her arms, turns lovingly towards Jesus and He in his turn, caresses Her cheek with excess love, the two of them sharing an embrace both human and Divine. The surname Kecharitomeni refers to the grace of the Virgin that is being revealed to the faithful, rendering always her blessed embrace.
