Triptych of seriograph icons crafted in canvas on wood, coated with pure silver locally gilded. On the moving leaves of the triptych, Saints of the Orthodox church are depicted with the same brushwork as the central icon. At the Monastery of the Virgin of Kazan in Russia, there is one more depiction of the Christ as Pantocrator. The icon was hagiographed in the 16th century, when Ivan IV the Terrible was in power, and it constitutes a typical hagiography sample of Christ of the Russian School, having been inspired by the first icon of Christ Pantocrator, in the first half of the 6th century, the encaustic icon that is located in the Monastery of St. Catherine of Sinai.
